Four out of 10 purchases are made through multiple devices or channels, according  to a Criteo report.

The State of Mobile Commerce Report 2015 is the result of a daily analysis of the 15 million requests per second that the display network handles, according to a statement.

The survey highlights that  the online shopper is multi-device .

Last year, mobile  transactions grew by 15% and already represent 30% of total electronic commerce.

On the other hand, of these  mobile purchases , 60% is concrete in smartphones .

Globally, multi-device purchases are already “the new normal”, which means that retailers  will have to offer a satisfying and continuous experience to their customers through multiple  devices.

According to Lindsay Lehr , Senior Director, Americas Market Intelligence, mobile commerce is still a nascent and emerging market in the Region, so there is ample room for innovation, disruption and new players.

In this context, the winners will be those who understand the customer in the context of their day to day, in their shopping habits. Currently more than 500 billion annual transactions are initiated through software.
