The Interactive Entertainment Law Group (IE Law Group) and Bedoya & Visbal Abogados closed an alliance to extend their legal representation services to the Latin American entertainment industry.
The two firms will combine their efforts in marketing, customer development and education in South America through events and conferences focused on the growth of the interactive industry in the region.
Patrick Sweeney, founding partner of IE Law Group said that this alliance demonstrates the opportunity represented by the video game development industry in South America. He further stated that it will allow both firms to share their skills with each other as well as with their clients for the benefit of all those related to the industry.
The Bedoya & Visbal regional experience combined with the global customer base and the extensive IE Law Group experience will result in a leading legal platform for video game companies in South America. Currently, the two firms represent approximately 10 clients in the region, including studies in Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.
IE Law Group was founded in 2013 and provides legal representation services in the video game industry, applications and interactive media. Bedoya & Visbal started its practice in 2015 in Barranquilla, Colombia .
